How to Search the YFA Online Catalogue

Our Online Catalogue contains a selection of records from our collection of over 16,000 film and video titles. These include documentaries, newsreels, advertising films, and home movie collections, all capturing the rich moving image heritage of the region over the past one hundred years.

As well as being able to read over 3,000 YFA Catalogue records online, you can also watch over 60 hours of digitised film clips, and read additional contextual information in our YFA Online collection.

• Quick Search
  Select either “YFA Catalogue Records” or “YFA Records with Film Clips Only”, then enter a subject, title, or place and click “Go”.
• Advanced Search
  Alternatively, use the Advanced Search options to search in more detail.
• Browse
  Click the Browse tab in order to select from either Decade, Area, or Theme to view the YFA Online collection.
