This documentary film was made by Robert Freeman in 1962.  It focuses on the fishing industry in Bridlington and features the crew of the Wayside Flower as they bring in the catch of the day including lobsters and crabs.

HUDDERSFIELD INTERNATIONAL CLUB OPENING NIGHT

This film deals with the issue of race relations and the immigrant community in Huddersfield, specifically in terms of education.  It was filmed shortly after the famous "Rivers of Blood" speech given by Enoch Powell which addressed the rise in immigration during this time period.

NEEDLECRAFT EXHIBITION AT GROSVENOR HOTEL

This Needlecraft Exhibition took place in the Grosvenor Hotel which is set to be demolished in 2008 to make way for the New Retail Quarter in the city of Sheffield.  The hotel was opened not long before this film was made.  All the clothing featured in the film was made by students from the Newfield School, and these students can be seen modelling their finished designs.

TEN YEARS ON - MYERS GROVE SCHOOL FILM

This film was made to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Myers Grove Comprehensive School in Sheffield.  At that time, the school was home to 1800 pupils, and this film highlights the different lessons and activities in which they are involved including a student fashion show.

This is a marionette film made by York puppeteer Patrick Olsen in collaboration with other York-based filmmakers.  It tells the story of a clown, Peedy, a puppet who dreams of owning a balloon.

This is a promotional film made to encourage new businesses, especially those based in London and other southern cities, to set up headquarters in Harrogate.  The film is told through the story of a businessman and his wife who are looking to relocate from London.  They have come to visit Harrogate to see if it meets their standards, and in doing so, tour around many of the local attractions and businesses.
