OH! What a descriptive error: It was Bradford Exchange Station, more of a station than "The Interchange" could masquarade as, Bradford has been emasculated transport wise. Where-ever we want to go, majority of times, "change at Leeds".

Most of the lines shown in this film are still open today. Only the section from Leeds Central shown in the first 2 minutes and the last short section on the final approach to Bradford are closed. The rest of the route is still open though rationalisation of the lines and station closures did take place.

One of the actual fasted journeys from Leeds central to Bradford used to be a London to Bradford Express about 8.pm. This drawn by a B2 with 2 carriages for Bradford was once timed at 9 minutes to Laisterdyke and 13 minutes to Bradford - probably in the late 1960's
